I can't pinpoint the exact moment I wanted to be a wedding photographer. It wasn't a lightbulb moment of knowing exactly what I wanted to do, but more of a slow and steady journey from hobbyist to "I think I want to do this for a living!"
As a young girl I loved flipping through my family's photo albums and watching my grandpa show old slides on his projector. I think I just love catching a glimpse into another time, often a simpler time, where people captured little snapshots of their lives or special moments. Nothing fancy or overly posed, just sweet, simple captures of every day life.
My love for old photos is constantly pushing me to learn more about unposed, authentic imagery. I love how simple, laid back, and down-to-earth those old photographs are. My goal as a photographer is to capture your photos in a similar way.
Below you'll see a little glimpse into my work; explore my blog for full posts telling the stories behind some of these photographs!
