It’s been well over a year since I’ve posted anything on the blog, so I thought it might be good to fix that in 2024.

First up we have William & Anna’s beautiful winter wedding that took place in March of 2023. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to what ended up being a wonderfully full and lovely wedding season.

William & Anna tied the knot at the gorgeous Allerton Mansion in Monticello, IL. If you’ve never been I highly recommend visiting! While Allerton is a beautiful & unique wedding venue, it’s also a great place to visit and get away from the busyness of life. There are beautiful meadows, gardens and hiking trails to explore, a cafe, as well as the mansion which is occasionally open for tours.

This particular wedding took place on a very chilly Saturday in March. While the cold kept us from being outside too long, there was ample places for beautiful indoor photos in the library.

I had the joy of briefly meeting William & Anna at their engagement session and instantly felt drawn to their calm & sweet love for each other. They really couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue to showcase their style; when I say this venue fit them perfectly I mean it!

Everything was thoughtfully planned, from the decor, to the ceremony, to speeches and dancing. I hope you’ll be able to catch even a small glimpse into the specialness of this day through the photos I’ve shared below.
